In Memory Of Dylan Canady

This picture is several years old…the only one I have as it seems all my pics of my 750 Lea days have become lost…for now, this shows the train table I built for him one Christmas…hard to say and talk about how I feel after all the travel-on-gravel I have been led towards and away from. This young man was a gift and who yet had more battles than even his mom knew how to adjust for. Anyone knowing her, knows she (and her extended family) did all that could be done to rescue the “inner torment.”

This is not their cross to bare. The sun breaks on one less smiling face, one less barefoot boy running through the trees, one less curious notion captured in his dress up as Davy Crockett, one less warrior, one less mistaken presumption, one less waking up afraid; and yet, we capture the memories because they too were as real as anything else.

“We do what we must do, and we do it well.”-Bob

RIP for Dylan and we as well in our fortunate lives.
